Favourite campsite as voted by the MOL team

Here in the MOL office we are getting excited at the prospect of some glorious summer camping trips, idyllic days spent frolicking in fields, improving our frisbee skills and drinking cold beers in the warm sun (yes, we are an optimistic bunch!).

We just wanted to share with you our favourite camping field find…. no summer is complete without a trip to Atlantic View, Porthcothan in North Cornwall. This is an absolutely cracking spot  but don't bother googling for a website, you will have to do it the old fashioned way and just turn up! As the name suggests (and it does not disappoint) the site has stunning sea views and a small track that leads down directly to a sublime Cornish beach. Facilities are basic but clean, though to be fair with ‘nature's shower' just a small walk away who needs an abundance of hot showers?
